Kate Winslet’s new boyfriend says he is very “happy” with her.

Model Louis Dowler, who began dating the Oscar-winning actress in June following her split from estranged husband Sam Mendes earlier this year, has spoken for the first time about their romance and couldn’t contain his excitement.

Speaking at the Virgin Media V Festival, in Chelmsford, Essex, earlier this month, Louis told Grazia magazine, “I feel really happy at the moment, although Kate’s not coming today, unfortunately. So I’m here with friends having a relaxing day out. Kate’s in Reading visiting family this weekend but I’m going to meet up with her on Sunday or Monday, which will be great.”

The ‘Reader’ star is thought to have invited Louis to meet her parents in her hometown but the hunk had already made plans with friends to go to the festival.

Sources close to Kate, who has nine-year-old daughter Mia with first husband Jim Threapleton and seven-year-old Joe with Sam -– say the pair are smitten with each other.

A friend said, “We all thought it was just going to be a fling, but it’s been going on a couple of months now and they seem to be getting closer and closer. Louis is making Kate really happy, he is just the kind of guy you want around if you’ve been going through a tough time, as he really looks out for the people he cares for.”

93-year-old actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been rushed to the hospital and was reportedly “unresponsive,” but a spokesman for her family says the situation is not life threatening.

Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, is said to have been “very agitated” after he called 911 and she was transported to a Los Angeles area hospital:

“About 11:00 am (1700 GMT), Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband called 911 today after finding his wife unresponsive. The actress was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center,” said Gabor’s representative John Blanchette…

“She is not in a life-threatening situation,” added the spokesman, Ed Lozzi.

Gabor was hospitalized for weeks after she broke her hip in a fall from her bed on July 17th, and underwent a hip replacement surgery as well as a subsequent surgery during that time. She received last rites from a priest two weeks ago, and returned to her home in Bel Air the next day at her insistence. Specific information about the reason behind her latest hospitalization has not yet been released.

Taylor Lautner has been challenged to a push-up contest to resolve to a lawsuit he has filed.

The 18-year-old actor, who is suing McMahon’s RV, claiming “emotional distress”, breach of contract and fraud after his $300,000 Recreational Vehicle (RV) was not delivered on time, has been urged to show off his physical prowess by the company’s owner Brent McMahon, who denies any wrongdoing.

Brent says that he will pay the actor the $40,000 he is seeking in damages if he can beat him at push ups, and further said he will donate the money to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, California if he triumphs in the test of strength.

The owner also said he will strongly defend his case in court if the actor doesn’t accept the challenge. Lawyers for Taylor declined to comment on the legal action, in which the ‘Twilight Saga’ star has claimed his customized vehicle did not arrive on the set of his new movie ‘Abduction’ by the specified date of June 21, and required further work after it was finally delivered..

Taylor, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the ‘Twilight’ franchise, has previously told how he is happy living at home with his parents, and wants to retain a normal lifestyle for “as long as possible”.

He said, “I help out with the lawn, garbage, dishes. When I come back, I have extra mowing to do. It’s very important to me. I describe it as I live two different lives. I have this life and do what I love to do, but I also have the same exact life as before and nothing has changed.”

Rod Stewart has vowed his eighth child will be his last.

The ‘Maggie May’ rocker, who announced earlier this month he and 39-year-old wife Penny Lancaster are expecting their second baby together, is delighted to be extending his family further but admits he worries about the cost of supporting all his kids.

Rod, who has six children from four previous relationships, as well as four-year-old Alistair with Penny said, “I’m very happy but it will be the last. I can’t have any more kids, otherwise I’ll be touring until I’m 90.”

Rod, who found out about the pregnancy when he and Penny were celebrating their third wedding anniversary in Italy three months ago, has broken the news to his other children and says they are thrilled that he and the blonde beauty are finally adding to their family.

He told Australia’s ‘Channel 9 News’ programme, “They’ve known for a couple of years we’ve been trying for a baby and they’re delighted.”

Although they don’t know the sex of the baby, the ‘Sailing’ hitmaker said if it is a boy he will follow his tradition of giving him “a Celtic name”.

The 65-year-old star also promised fans will get a glimpse of the youngster when he is performing live.

He said, “I might bring them out on stage once or twice, I wouldn’t want to exploit him or her though.

“It’s good for the kids to see where their daddy works.”

Rod’s other children are Kimberley, 30, and Sean, 29, with his by first wife Alana Hamilton. He also has Ruby, 23, by model Kelly Emberg and Renee, 18, and Liam, 15, by his second wife Rachel Hunter.

His eldest daughter, Sarah, 46, was born when he was 19 and was brought up in a children’s home until she was four, before being adopted.

Lindsay Lohan insists she has no addiction problems.

The ‘Machete’ actress, who spent 22 days of a 90-day court-ordered stint in rehab earlier this month, has denied she has a problem with dependency on alcohol or prescription medication and claims she would own up to anything wrong in her life.

Lindsay, who was forced to wear an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet as part of conditions of probation said, “If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking — so that says something, because I was fine.

“I’ve never abused prescription drugs. I have no desire to. That’s not who I am. I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done — to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things because I was young and curious and thought it was like, OK because other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”

However, the 24-year-old star admits her partying lifestyle spiraled out of control because she fell in with the wrong crowd.

In an interview conducted before her recent 13-day jail and 22-day rehab stint, she told America’s Vanity Fair magazine: “So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons. A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party.”

The troubled star admits it was “really scary and sad” the way she used to idolise other celebrities such as Britney Spears.

She explained, “I would look up to those girls … the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that.”

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress also blasted her estranged father Michael Lohan, who has repeatedly claimed she is addicted to prescription drugs, and insisted he is the cause of many of her problems.

She said, “I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life.”

Lindsay was originally sentenced to 90 days jail and 90 days in prison as a punishment for violating the terms of probation which was set following a 2007 driving under the influence conviction.

Sandra Bullock’s son is treated like a “crown prince” by her family.

The Oscar-winning actress adopted seven-month-old Louis in January and says everyone was thrilled he was a little boy because she has so few male relatives.

She said, “I didn’t think it would be a boy. We don’t have any boys in our family. Boy, is everyone really happy about that. So, he’s like the crown prince. You know, it’s nothing but girls in our family. My cousin in Germany has one son. Can you imagine how miserable our father is? I mean, every pet was female. But it was just the hierarchy that needed to be broken.”

The 46-year-old beauty,  who started the adoption process with ex-husband Jesse James but eventually applied as a single parent after they separated following allegations he cheated on her with a string of women, believes she was destined to have a child and didn’t care how it happened.

She said, “I think, everything works out the way the universe wants it to work out. We had always said that it didn’t matter where the child came from. If they had issues that were medical issues, we didn’t care. It’s like the child that needed us in the home is the child that’s going to be placed.”

Sandra is enjoying every moment of parenthood and admits she was extremely relieved when the adoption was finalised.

She added in an interview with ‘Today Show’ host Matt Lauer: “He’s from New Orleans, he’s a little Cajun cookie. It felt so rich… it felt like it was time, you know… I wanted to do everything exactly the same way everyone else did.

“And, it was… he was always mine, you know. It wasn’t like I felt like someone was going to take him away. But it was nice to have someone say, I think you’re a fit parent.”

Paris Hilton has been charged with cocaine possession.

The hotel heiress could face up to four years in prison after 0.8 grams of the illegal drug was found in her handbag when she and boyfriend Cy Waits were stopped and searched by police in Las Vegas on Friday night, August 27.

It has been claimed District Attorney David Roger, who is overseeing the case, is set to sentence the 29-year-old socialite to prison, because he “won’t tolerate celebrities” who get into trouble.

A source told website RadarOnline.com, “Roger won’t tolerate celebrities coming to Las Vegas and thinking they can get away with illegal behaviour. It’s going to be extremely difficult for Paris to get out of these charges, even with the brilliant legal skills of her lawyer, David Chesnoff.”

She is due in court on October 27 over the felony possession of a controlled substance charge, which was filed in court by the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.

Paris was stopped by officers on Friday during a night out with Cy – who has been charged with drunk-driving and is due in court on November 29 – after police noticed an “odour of marijuana” coming out of the vehicle.

The police report from one of the officers at the scene states, “Hilton said she needed to put some lip balm on, and I handed her the purse from the table. As she began to open it, I saw a small bundle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy begin to fall from the purse and into my hand.”

After her arrest, the reality TV star told officers she had borrowed the handbag from a friend, that it contained several make-up items which were not hers, and she thought the cocaine was chewing gum.

Paris has already been arrested twice this year for drug-related offenses, but her attorney has urged people not to jump to conclusions.

He said in a statement, “This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law.”

Leona Lewis rarely spoke to her support act on tour.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker was joined at 20 of her ‘Labyrinth’ shows by ‘Defender’ singer Gabriella Cilmi, and while the teenage star was excited to be on the road with Leona, she admits they had very little contact.

Gabriella exclusively told BANG Showbiz, “It was very fun, but I didn’t really see Leona that much, although she did give me a little letter before we started the tour, saying, ‘It was a pleasure to share a stage with you.’

“I met her… well, I bumped into her a couple of times but she had so much press and promotional stuff to do…

“But it was cool because I got to play four nights at The O2 Arena in London, and there were massive crowds which were pretty much full when I was on stage. So that was pretty cool.”

While Gabriella, 18, insists she admires Leona, who is a strict vegetarian, she doesn’t share her tastes in catering.

Gabriella, who has opened nominations for the vinspired National Awards to celebrate and recognise young volunteers for the inspirational work they do added, “The Leona tour was great, but the only problem was the catering – they only had vegetarian food, whereas I like to eat meat. So it wasn’t great for me.”

Dominic Cooper can’t sing.

The British actor, who starred as the hunky Sky in 2008 musical movie ‘Mamma Mia!,’ always wanted to be a musician but had trouble when he tried to start bands as a youth because he was “dreadful”, though he blames his upbringing.

He said, “I was in bands. I was the lead singer. They were dreadful. I couldn’t sing. They were all not very good.

“There was a terrible sort of mixture of one brother who is into kind of bad 80s, Nick Kershaw and Duran Duran and a much older brother who is into soul and my mother who is into classical music… it was an amalgamation of very different music styles which came out as something quite appalling.”

However, Dominic admits he did discover a passion for the drums while filming the role of rocker Ben in romantic comedy ‘Tamara Drewe’ – although it was short-lived.

He joked to BANG Showbiz, “I had some lessons and got really into it and loved it and then went completely over the top and purchased a drum kit, and then I got letters from the local council asking me to leave the premises immediately.

“Of course as soon as the film wrapped, the drums went into a box and I’ve never seen them again.”

Susan Boyle has moved house.

The Scottish singer, who rose to fame on UK TV talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ has moved out of her council house and into a five-bedroom, $463,000 home in West Lothian.

Fears had been raised for her security in her old house when an intruder was found, leading to plans for her to move into a newer home.

Susan’s brother Gerry recently complained the ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ singer lived on just $463 a week, despite having sold 8.5 million copies of her debut album and reportedly earned $15.4 million, meaning she was unable to furnish her new property.

He said, “Her millions are ring-fenced but Susan has no concept of money. She was extremely distressed.”

“Susan said to me, ‘I’ve been told I get $463 a week because I’m a novice. I don’t have the money to go and buy the furniture.’

“She should be able to walk in the bank anywhere and say she wants $77,200 cash. That may not be advisable, but it would be her choice because it’s her money.”
