Kendra Wilkinson has a phobia of pizzas.

The former Playboy model used to work at Papa John’s restaurant before she got famous and the experience of has left her unable to feast on the tasty Italian dish because it brings back bad memories.

The 25-year-old beauty said, “The last time I ate Papa John’s … wow. I think I ate it one time after I worked there. Just one time, and that was it. It’s like a phobia now because of the smell that was on my hands. I get really grossed out when I think of that pizza because I had to work with the pizza.”

While she doesn’t eat calorie-laden pizzas, Kendra – who had her first baby Hank Baskett IV with husband Hank Baskett last December – admits she is struggling to lose all her pregnancy weight and gets annoyed when she weighs herself.

She told America’s OK! magazine, “The last time I felt angry was probably when I stepped on the scale. I get so mad at how hard I’m working out, and I look good, but it’s not showing on the numbers. I’m like ‘dang it!’ Right now I feel like I’ve lost – and I look in the mirror like I’ve lost so much – but on the scale, it’s not telling me that. Otherwise, I don’t get angry.”

Well, that’s kind of refreshing.

Paris Hilton’s quick release from jail has been defended by officials.

The heiress, who was arrested in Las Vegas last month alongside boyfriend Cy Waits for cocaine possession, was allowed to leave the Clark County Detention Center after just three hours, which is roughly half the average time it takes to process those faced with the same charge.

However, officials at the correctional facility have defended the decision to speed up the process for the socialite, arguing her presence would have caused too much chaos among the inmates.

Jim Dixon, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief, said, “Yeah, she was treated differently so I don’t have a disruption of my process here at the county jail. When you bring in somebody like that, everybody comes over and tries to look at them. I’d have officers attempting to keep inmates away from her. I’d have disruptions.”

Despite her seemingly special treatment, the officer insisted Paris was still subject to all regular booking procedures.

She is set to appear before Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure on October 27.

It is thought the hotel heiress could face up to four years in prison after 0.8 grams of the illegal drug was found in her handbag when she and Cy were stopped and searched by police on August 27.

Paris has denied the charges, insisting the cocaine did not belong to her as she had borrowed the bag from a friend.

Lindsay Lohan’s father has put her through “hell”.

She added to Vanity Fair magazine, “I feel sorry for him. Obviously, it shows a far cry for attention in so many ways. He’s not happy with himself. Therefore, he has to project it onto others.”

John Travolta’s extortion case has been dropped.

The actor, whose 16-year-old son Jett died during a family holiday to the Bahamas in January 2009 after suffering a seizure, decided against pursing action against two people who were accused of trying to extort $25 million from the ‘Pulp Fiction’ star and his wife as he has already suffered considerable “emotional distress”.

Neil Braithwaite, Chief Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General said, “The defendants have been discharged. Mr. Travolta is no longer interested in pursuing the matter because it has caused his family great emotional distress.”

Paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, who was one of the medical team who treated Jett before he died and his co-accused, former Senator Pleasant Bridgewater, allegedly demanded $25 million from the ‘Grease!’ star and threatened to sell a story claiming he and his wife Kelly Preston “intentionally killed” their son.

It is believed the 56-year-old star decided against continuing the case because he would be expected to give evidence in court again.

John had originally testified against the pair last October, but a new trial had to be ordered after Senior Justice Anita Allen, who was overseeing the case, said she was forced to make the decision after a speech broadcast on the TV and radio hinted the jury would acquit one of the defendants.

The jury was still deliberating over their decision when politician Picewell Forbes told an audience at a Progressive Liberal Party convention Bridgewater was a “free woman”.

Immediately after Forbes made the claim, his party’s deputy chairman-elect, Alex Storr, apologised, announced the information was incorrect and no verdict had been issued.

However, the judge felt she had to dismiss the jurors and order a new trial.

The group had spent a month listening to the case.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to extort and conspiring to extort by means of threats.

Former child star Brooke Shields is relieved that her daughters aren’t interested in following in her footsteps but will support them if they change their minds as they get older.

“If I had my wish, it would be that they won’t want to act. If they do, I’ll support them as long as they get an education.”

The 45-year-old ‘Furry Vengeance’ actress also revealed that she is a tough mother, ruling with an “iron hand” because she worries about external influences.

She told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, “I’m a hands-on mum and I’m lucky to be able to be that. But kids are so advanced these days. It’s as if they are more than a generation away from us – maybe every generation feels that. And the content on television is so mature, there is a sassiness to these kids that my girls imitate. I have to rule with an iron hand.”

Brooke, whose mother is suffering from dementia, also admitted she is struggling to cope with seeing her mum struggle with the disease, and wishes they could still converse in the way they used to.

She explained, “I’m kind of in denial. I’m confident in my own mothering – I’ve been making all my own decisions for a long time – but after all these years, I still want my mum. I go through the motions and I’m dealing with it, but I haven’t arrived at any healthy place yet.”
